Your wedding should sound and feel like you. That starts with getting to know what you enjoy, what you want your day to feel like, and the music that brings your friends and family together. I’m Joey, owner and DJ of Joey’s DJ Service. For more than 15 years, I’ve helped couples celebrate weddings across North Carolina and Southern Virginia. I provide DJ and MC services from the ceremony through the last dance, with the preparation and equipment needed to keep each part of the day running smoothly. When it’s time to dance, I don’t rely on a predetermined playlist. I read the room, mix between genres and generations, take requests when they fit the moment, and adjust throughout the night based on what your guests are responding to. The goal is a dance floor that feels natural to your crowd rather than a wedding that sounds exactly like everyone else’s. I also believe a great wedding DJ should know when not to be on the microphone. I’ll handle the introductions and announcements that keep your reception moving while allowing the celebration—and the music—to remain the focus. Joey’s DJ Service is based in Durham and serves weddings throughout North Carolina and Southern Virginia, including the Triangle, Triad, Charlotte area, Fayetteville, Wilmington and beyond.
